A MESSAGE FROM JOHN

Fellow Republicans,

As Lindy and I have traveled our great state and nation, working to promote the traditional conservative values that guided the founding fathers, it has been our privilege to spend time with many of you and hear your thoughts about the future of the Republican Party.  While we are blessed to have strong leadership on the state level, we have the opportunity to step up our commitment and involvement on the national level, so that we can effect real change and make a serious impact.

After much thought and prayer, I have decided to seek the position of National Committeeman for the Alabama Republican Party.  I have the skill set and experience, and am ready to roll up my sleeves to help the Republican National Committee take back the White House and the Senate. I do not take this decision lightly and will work diligently to earn your trust and support. 

While I have been a lifelong Republican voter, I first became involved in party activities in 2012, when I was a key sponsor of the ALGOP delegation to the Republican National Convention in Tampa.  Since that time, I have worked with several RNC chairmen to promote the Party, and was one of the top-10 fundraisers in the 2016 election cycle.  Lindy and I have also attended nearly all of the RNC’s Spring and Fall retreats, and are currently on the board of the America First Policy Institute.

I am an active member of the Alabama Republican Party, having served on the Steering Committee as Finance Chairman.  Under the leadership of ALGOP Chairman John Wahl, this has been a period of incredible growth for the Party, breaking attendance and fundraising records at the Summer Dinner with President Trump in Montgomery this past year.  I am grateful to Chairman Wahl for selecting me to serve on his team during this historic time.

Lindy and I have proudly traveled to several battleground states to knock doors for candidates. Team Blanchard engaged in a friendly competition with Senators Britt and Tuberville’s teams to see who could knock more doors for Herschel Walker (Team Blanchard for the win). We also led and underwrote a Get Out the Vote deployment to Florida last year, and supported a team that helped flip Virginia for Governor Youngkin. Based on these successes, Lindy and I are currently working with three national conservative organization to plan, lead, and fund additional “boots on the ground” operations in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Florida during the 2024 election cycle.

As your representative to the RNC, I pledge to:

• Work tirelessly, stand for our Alabama values, and keep the national party platform strong and enforced.

• Collaborate with other conservative RNC members to come up with fresh and new ideas that will improve the direction of the Committee.

• Be your voice on the Committee, be responsive, and submit regular reports on National level activities.

• Assist Chairman Wahl in his efforts to raise Alabama’s profile nationally and elect conservative Republican candidates across our great state and nation. 

• Continue my financial support of the ALGOP and RNC, while recruiting others to do the same. I want to help Alabama be an example for states across the country.
